String Wound Filter Cartridges are an excellent choice for economical, nominal filtration in the range of 1-150 microns, with both the yarn and core available in a wide array of materials to ensure that the filter is compatible with the process streams and conditions. General Filtration’s String Wound Cartridges are available in multiple lengths and diameters to fit in existing housings and replace other brands.
Low cost 100% polypropylene string wound cartridges for sediment removal. Available in 1, 5, 20, and 50 micron ratings; 2-1/2 in. OD and 4-1/2 in. OD; 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 in. lengths

It is a low-cost liquid filter cartridge offering excellent depth filtration and strong chemical resistance.
All above string filters can be with polypropylene, stainless steel or tin steel inner core.
Our PFI® PP filters are manufactured through an exclusive process that thermally bonds pure polypropylene. This process traps particles more evenly throughout the cross section.
